The Field Steward (Maintenance) works on all Solano Land Trust (SLT) properties (eight properties totaling over 10,000 acres) including Rush Ranch, a 2,040 acre open space located within the Suisun Marsh near Suisun City, California. The Field Steward helps to maintain trails, weed control, and other duties as assigned at Rush Ranch and other Solano Land Trust properties. The Field Steward will interact with the public and support use of all facilities by visiting scientists, user groups, and the general public. This is a part-time, non-exempt position for most of the year with the potential to work full-time (seasonal) in the Spring.
