It is anticipated that the Coordinator position will require approximately 15-25 hours per week depending upon the work allocation during the relevant grant period. The rate of compensation for this position is $20-22 per hour.
General Summary of Work Performed:
The Community Engagement Coordinator will help lead and support engagement of the Alameda County business community on reentry issues. The Coordinator will assist in the development of the program, liaise directly with community contacts, coordinate program logistics, and support the development of a public education and media campaign.

10. Prepare periodic reports of work performed and participate in the preparation of overall project reports as needed.
11. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Legal Director.
12. Participation in some evening and weekend activities may be required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:
1. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Resourceful, independent thinker with ability to problem-solve spontaneously and determine when an issue may require supervisor attention.
3. Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. 4. Knowledge of and commitment to the mission and goals of LCCR in addition to our Economic Justice and Second Chance programs.
4. Past experience related to reentry, the criminal justice system or employer outreach strategies a plus.
