MEDA Job Description Program Evaluator Over its 39 year history, the Mission Economic Development Agency (MEDA) (www.medasf.org) has advanced innovative approaches to promote economic justice through asset development for the Latino community in San Francisco. Its programs foster asset creation through financial education, microenterprise and small business development, homeownership, free income tax preparation, digital literacy training, workforce development and community planning. MEDA is currently seeking candidates for the position of Program Evaluator to join its expanding evaluation team. Reporting to the Director of Evaluation, the Program Evaluator will be responsible for reporting, evaluation and analysis for all MEDA programs. This position will work closely with the other members of the Evaluation team, and program staff to ensure that reports to funders are accurate and filed in a timely manner. The Program Evaluator will implement, test and improve existing processes and procedures to consistently collect and evaluate data on client outcomes for evaluation and reporting to funders and for program assessment. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a keen analytical mind, and possess excellent communication skills. He or she will be able to use data as a tool to guide and assist program staff to be more effective in their service provision. Responsibilities: Coordinates accurate and timely program data collection and data entry with program staff. In collaboration with Evaluation, program and development Staff, prepares data reports and analysis to be used for funder reports. Completes production sections of funder’s reports using data reports generated. Conducts quality control reviews of client files and program record keeping to ensure program/funder guidelines are met. In collaboration with Program Consultants and Administrative Assistants, creates appropriate program materials. Prepares and maintains client files according to all program guidelines. · Works collaboratively with the fund development staff in the gathering of data for funder reports, and assists with any fundraising and grant writing efforts, as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: · Knowledge and experience in client management systems i.e., ETO, Salesforce, Vista Share,. · Knowledge and experience in quantitative analysis tools including SPSS and mapping software · Excellent writing and computer skills · Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and customer service skills · Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task · Ability to work in a collaborative and/or team environment. · Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment · Must be available to work outside regular business hours · Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred · Bachelor’s degree in planning, public health, business, finance, economics or other related field or equivalent experience.
